The ROYAL CITY YACHT CLUB shares a home with the AIRPORT YACHT CLUB on the Fraser River in Richmond, BC. The Clubhouse
is located in the VANCOUVER
MARINA behind the Boathouse
Restaurant in Richmond, BC. It is a floating 2 story building with kitchen, bar and banquet facilities
on the lower level and cozy seating in a games room and lounge,
near a fireplace and bar on the upper level BBQs
and patio seating are available on the balcony of the upper level.
A Bar and
BBQ are hosted every Friday
night by AIRPORT
YACHT CLUB and the banquet
facilities may be rented by Members for Non-Club functions. |

RCYC Members and guests gather every 3rd Thursday of the month, except during July and
August, for a monthly business meeting followed by an informal
social. Light refreshments and bar beverages are available when
the meeting is not in progress. Most of the Clubs land events
are held on the premises.
A lively event takes place
around good food and stand-up comedy in March at the ST. PATRICK's DAY Dinner. Tickets for this event sell out within
days! A brunch honoring MOTHER's DAY
and a BBQ celebrating FATHER's DAY
are eagerly anticipated by the RCYC family. |
