Reciprocal Benefits
Worth the cost of Membership alone is the use of RECIPROCAL MOORAGES!
ROYAL CITY YACHT CLUB Members benefit from the use of moorage and club facilities at many different Yacht Clubs in British Columbia, Washington State, Oregon and beyond!
Each Yacht Club offers different benefits. Often moorage will be free for 1 or 2 nights and then a nominal fee per foot is charged for the remainder of your stay.
Most Yacht Clubs around the world offer admission and the use of their clubhouse facilities, upon proof of membership to card-carrying club members!
This is an excellent opportunity for active boaters!

A word about Reciprocals.
Most people think of them as the ability to pull up to the docks of a reciprocal club and get free overnight moorage. That is generally true, and, that is only part of the story. You can use this feature on land as well. For example, your membership card can get you access to almost any Yacht Club in the World - not just by water, but by land as well. Many of our members have used this feature in Yacht Clubs all over the US and Canada as well as many other foreign countries. While there may be the odd exception, essentially you are welcome at any club anywhere. This can be a real benefit when travelling; in most cases where they have dining facilities, the food is good and inexpensive and the atmosphere is great!
The following yacht clubs offer explicit, reciprocal moorage privileges with RCYC. Please see their "Club Information Sheet" for the club you wish to visit for specific details. Do not assume that any other yacht clubs offer reciprocal moorage privileges with RCYC. If in doubt, please contact our Reciprocal officer.
